HYDROELECTRIC DAMS

Mohlin & Company has provided engineering services for the inspections and design of rehabilitation of many hydroelectric dams throughout the Northeast. Work performed included:

1. Concrete rehabilitation to log flues, fishways and improvement to faces of dams.
2. Design replacement of tainter gates and penstock lift gates.
3. OSHA standard access platforms, monorails and material handling around penstocks and powerhouses.
4. Inspections and design repairs for penstocks and surge tanks.
5. Inspections of catenary towers for maintaining flood gates.
